i need to measure the circumferential length of a polygon shape , is there a way of doing this?

i need to measure the circumferential length of a polygon shape , is there a way of doing this?

Measure a line on each face of the polygon. Create an intersect point of each line. Then create a distance from each point and add the distances together will give you the circumferance of the polygon.
That great , Thanks , How would it work on a curve hole feature , was scan round it ?
also can you measure the circumference length with the HP10-10 laser ?
