Report distance in multiple axis at a time

It would be nice to be able to report both X distance and Y distance in one pass thru the distance dialog. The current method of only being able to report one axis at a time is a waste of time in both programming and reading a report not to mention a waste of ink and paper.

I am not sure I fully understand the suggestion. When doing a DISTANCE two features are selected, yielding one result and one line on the report. When I want to know XYZ, I use LOCATION and can select several axises in one go, which gives one command in the program and several results from this on the report.

LOCATION only reports from the coordinate system origin. I want to be able to quickly report hole locations without resetting the origin. Reporting both a X DISTANCE and a Y DISTANCE on the same feature takes up more space on the report without any real benefit. The software is already calculating both nominals in the dialog box. Why not allow for reporting of actuals?

This functionality is on other CMM software. If I remember correctly it was available on OFI/FLB as far back as the 1980's. Even the digital readout on my optical comparator does this. It's not a deal breaker but at least for me is in the really nice to have category.

Before I forget, thanks for internally submitting the report command embedded in dimension command suggestion. If I had to choose between these two suggestions I would prefer the embedded report. However, I do want to be greedy and get both!

Seems I was correct - I didn't understand the suggestion. Now I do and I can imagine a reworked dimension dialog, containing both location and distance together with feature-to-feature distances (cartesian, polar and point-to-point) simultaneously displayed/evaluated in the same dialog which is a benefit. I'm out of of votes though (call me selfish :))...

@Kingsld1 Do you mean something like that?

Most of former "Tutor for Windows" users are disappointed when Pc-dmis reports only one axes at once.

Yes! That sample report is what I would like to have.

Not completely sure what the dialog box would look like. I think that at least two (maybe three) tolerance inputs would be needed in case the tolerance are different.

Also, would probably need to identify what axis to tolerance. Alternatively, it could be workplane based and automatically selected.
