Have the option of making programs "Invisible" from Inspect Desktop.

If there is a large number of programs to load within a Directory, Inspect slows down significantly and sometimes crashes. If the only program to show was, searched for, program. This should prevent the system from slowing down.

Inspect 3.2 introduces more control over which routines are available to Operators. This includes tools to lock operators to one or more specified folders and support of windows shortcuts to routines.

This may satisfy this requirement.

If we tie this to making the interface similar or as friendly as PCDMIS STI+ was, I know we can use folders (Windows explorer tools) to segregate/group programs, but it would be nice to be able to setup like a Inspect routines map that a programmer can designate as the unique setup of routines available to the operator.   Thus, not allowing navigation thru any folders or subfolders.  Having said that, Inspect as it is offers benefits way beyond what most customers are used to which is PCDMIS Operator mode and a fully accessible (cut/paste/delete, rename) Open program dialog.  Which from a production perspective, is a bad thing.

With recent changes in 3.2 and 4.1, we believe this request is covered. Namely

1) More control over which folders are presented to users

2) Ability to "Favorite" routines - and just configure the favorites to be available.

In addition, we have optimized Inspect when there are a large numbers of routines, so it shouldn't be a problem now anyway.
