Preview window for CAD import

As a TubeShaper user, when I import a CAD model that contains assembled tubes with or without brackets (IGES/STEP), I want to be able to select wich one has to be extracted and afterwards measured/reported.


It will be nice to have a Preview window of the CAD model and select which one has to be extracted, and also to select which straight, of the selected tube, has to be considered my 1st one.

+1. It would be helpful to be able to pick out the straights and ends and leave out extra, non-tubular bits. Currently TubeShaper simply makes a "best guess" that needs to be checked against coordinate info, defeating the purpose of easy .STP import.
