Probe the intersection point between two straights with a small angle

I would like that existed an option to be able to probe manually the intersection point between two straights that form a small angle (5 degrees, for example).

This option was implemented in Docs or GTube.

An intersection point sits on the tube axis, so I'm not sure how this would be physically possible (unless the tube diameter is so great, that you can fit the arm inside?).

However, if there is a physical point at the intersection that can be probed, there is a (slightly complex) work around that will work:

- Go to the 'Data View' and note the coordinates of the IP you want to probe.

- Go to the 'Program View' and select 'Add Point.'

- Insert the coordinates of your IP.

- This new 'point feature' will have the same coordinates as the IP, so that when you hit the 'Play' (measure) icon to run the part program, the point can be measured in a separate step to the tube.

- Just be careful what probe is mounted on the arm when you run the program! You can't measure a point feature with a tube probe, so you might need to insert a 'swap probe' command. You can do this by going to the 'Utilities' menu in the Program View.
