PCDMIS Settings copy from public

Will be useful to have automatic procedure when we install new pcdmis release when installation procedure finish to ask if you want to copy settings or not from previous version. For example we use our own reporting and QDAS settings and always I need to copy - paste all folders from public from previous version to new.

When we install new SP we need to be careful because new installation overwrite old settings with default.

Absolutely!

This comes up in our weekly user group meeting after every update.  We are actually working on developing an in-house procedure and even looking at scripts to change registry settings.  A lot I could say here, but we lose ~ 15 minutes min. to an entire days worth of working if people miss or -mistake their settings as a lot of our processes depend on data being output correctly. (absolute-worst case; I.E. lots of data outputs being manually configured after capability study with users not strong in excel)

Moving my vote.
