I would like to calculate the area focus and the area of scans

We have irregular contours (turtle, Easter eggs, seahorses) and need the area and their from closed scans.
Our competitors are already working with this for a long time.

We would like to calculate the focus from linear closed scans, which is in real a chocolate form from various animals or different free-form surfaces.
For example: we have a mould with 72 different cavities and have to check the center points of every single cavity.
We need those exact centre points to define the different positions of the cavities.
