Today, 180° bends require additionnal point when the angle is higher than 178° (?).
This limit value should be editable (tupe inspectionsettings) to be able to operate the same way on slightly smaller angles (175° for inst.).
As a TubeShaper user, when I import a CAD model that contains assembled tubes with or without brackets (IGES/STEP), I want to be able to select wich one has to be extracted and afterwards measured/reported.
It will be nice to have a Preview window of the CAD model and select which one has to be extracted, and also to select which straight, of the selected tube, has to be considered my 1st one.
Crazy as it sounds, but we do have straight tubes that we measure too, some with flanges or fittings at the ends. I know that there is the toolbox to measure a straight, but it is limited to just a straight. Would like to be able to create and inspect a straight tube with or without flange profiles and check for the deviations.
We need more Variables ind the Header of the Protokoll.
The Customers need to insert.
4. Tube Material
I measure a lot of bent tubes with copes (fish mouth cuts) on the ends of the tubes. Would like to have the capability in TubeShaper to take a measured bent tube (with measured cylinders on each end) and convert it to a straight state with the measured end cylinders in the correct orientation. Then the straight tube can be exported as a CAD model so it can be used in a tube laser machine.
Currently the only method available for measuring long tubes (leap-frogging) is the "Move Tube" where it is required to measure two straights. If all straights are just too big to allow for selection/measurement of any two, this obviously won't work. Perhaps we can add an additional method, similar to that of G-Tube, where we add a displacement T-square, perpendicular to any straight.
When a user changes his default report Template (ex: change the Logo), those new settings will be applied only on new projects.
If he has 1000 existing projects, there is no way to retro apply the new settings on the old project but changing one by one.
Please integrate leapfrog using touchprobe. When doing the current leapfrog (measure last two straights) it is sometimes not possible to measure tubes with a very long straight (2000-3000mm) in between the bends with a "standard" tubearm. This will be possible using a traditional leapfrog (or two).
